Individuals wishing to be considered for a scholarship should submit a copy of their resume together with a short letter describing their construction law practice, along with reasons why they want to attend a Fall Meeting. If selected, candidates must commit to attend the program (the scholarships are not transferable). Questions and/or applications for the scholarships should be sent directly to the Chair of the Forum’s Diversity + Inclusion Committee, Nick Holmes, at nholmes@devinemillimet.com.

Leadership Roundtable Series on Impacts of COVID-19

In order to serve and provide resources to our Forum members, the greater ABA, and the general public, the ABA Forum on Construction Law and strategic partners have developed a multi-part webinar series exploring how the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting construction and design and identifying options for response and risk management/mitigation. In these free, non-CLE webinars, industry leaders and attendees will have the opportunity to exchange information, learn from one another, raise questions, and offer options for addressing the deepening effects of the crisis. If you are a company leader or legal counsel, we invite you to join our conversation. Our Fall 2020 COVID-19 Leadership Roundtable Series resumes for three one-hour Roundtable sessions commencing on Tuesday, September 15th at 4 PM ET.

About Us Forum on Construction Law

The Forum’s new Mission Statement, adopted in 2012, emphasizes the Forum’s core focus on the education and professional development of Construction lawyers. Indeed, this has been the heart of the Forum’s mission since its founding in 1976. But this is not meant to signal a narrowing of the Forum’s traditionally broad efforts at improving Construction law and practice, and at enhancing the careers of Construction lawyers generally.
